Park Crossing Apartments in Maple Shade, NJ is a horrible development that concentrates on ripping off their tenants. The place has no parking and people park illegally. They have no problems hitting you for fees but they are not good at making this place your home. They are owned by Riverstone residential. Do not move here. You will regret it.
My fiance and I moved here in July of 2009 and we left June of 2012 because we were both struggling trying to find jobs and it just became very stressful. My fiance and I had so many problems on our court and nobody in the office seemed to care enough to do anything except Laurie Eastwick who is no longer the property manager there. I called a maintenance request in one day and because I did not answer the door because I was sleeping, maintenance BROKE INTO my home. When I came out of my bedroom because I heard a noise, 2 maintenance men were standing at the top of my stairway laughing because they woke me up. When we moved out, Park Crossing charged us $400.00 for a carpet that had NOTHING WRONG WITH IT! When I asked the management why we were charged, I was told because they expect the carpet to be good for 5 years and we lived there for 3. If you want the carpet to stay good for 5 years, don't rent apartments, just go out of business. I would not move back to Park Crossing if I was paid money. Do not live here. There is also NO PARKING. If you go out you have to be afraid that you will not be able to park, they claim they are fixing it but nothing is getting fixed, people park illegally and people who are not residents park in resident only spots.
